GreybeardAI started with a frustration most developers know well: every AI coding tool either locks you into a credits system you can't see through, or gives you so little control that debugging feels impossible.

We wanted something different. A platform where you bring your own API key and pay the actual model provider directly — not a markup on top of a markup. Where you can see exactly which files changed before accepting them. Where you pick your stack instead of inheriting one. Where you can export your project as a real zip at any moment without a paywall.

We're a small team. We're still early. The product is in private beta and we're onboarding builders carefully so we can actually support them. We'd rather ship something honest and get real feedback than overpromise to thousands and disappoint them.
